With a new president in the White House, this is the moment for social-justice Christians to defend God’s good creation and reclaim our faith from the religious right’s climate denial. We can start by supporting Indigenous organizers in their fight against northern Minnesota’s Line 3 tar sands pipeline. 1
Religion
The Hypocrisy of the Religious Right
The religious right wants to ban all abortions. Having the State or Federal Government ban all abortions, especially those of rape or insist, should have consequences. If the Government and the religious right forces a woman to carry an unwanted baby, the Government also has the responsibility to raise that child to adulthood. That means food, shelter, clothing and education including college through age 26, until that child enters the workforce and can subsist by themselves.
What Does The Bible Teach?
The Bible teaches nothing about abortion. Read “God Is So Not Pro-Life” by Brian Bolton. 2
Is It True That Trump Paid for Abortions?
There are rumors, too, of Trump mistresses paid to have abortions and kept quiet with non-disclosure agreements. One source tells Cockburn that there could be as many as eight such women. (Cockburn should point out that Trump has been the subject of rumors about secret abortions for years, and has admitted no such thing.) But this is more than merely sad and sordid: if any such payments were made while Trump was running for President, there could be new campaign finance violations, all felony offenses. 3
Why is the Muslim Ban only in Muslim Countries that don’t Have Trump Properties?
The attack near the Louvre Museum was done by an Egyptian national.[1]
The New York Times, “An Egyptian Interior Ministry official confirmed to The Associated Press on Saturday that the Louvre attacker was a 28-year-old Egyptian-born man named Abdullah Reda Refaie al-Hamahmy.”[1]
Nothing Trump did would have prevented this. Perhaps it even encouraged it. Even Turkey is not on his list. Read Trumps full disclosure report.
A new radical Islamic terrorist has just attacked in Louvre Museum in Paris. Tourists were locked down. France on edge again. GET SMART U.S.

The Daily Pole, “Egypt is currently one of the most dangerous country to travel, because of high possibility of terrorist attacks, and yet Donald Trump mysteriously omitted this country from his ban list. According to UK Foreign Ministry, traveling there is not advised, because it is too dangerous…”[2]
The properties which Trump owns or is part owner of are Trump Marks Egypt Corp and Trump Marks Egypt LLC. [2][3]
NPR, “President Donald Trump’s refugee ban in the Middle East could be one of the first conflicts of interest for the president, as his bans avoided nations that he has business ties in.”[3]

Robert Jeffress at Trump Inauguration Inflames Muslims, Mormons, Catholics and Gays
CNN, “A pastor with a long history of inflammatory remarks about Muslims, Mormons, Catholics and gays is scheduled to preach at a private service for President-elect Trump and his family on Friday, shortly before Trump takes the oath of office.”[1]
Robert Jeffress ordains himself and mocks the whole act of ordination. [2]
